Cleo King is the recognizable face whose talent brings joy, depth and laughter every time she appears.   She will be recurring in the highly anticipated new Netflix original series, A Series of Unfortunate Eventsdirected by Barry Sonnenfeld, the independent suspense thriller The Bye Bye Man and fans of the hit CBS television sitcom, Mike & Molly will remember her as the wise cracking “Nana.”

Cleo can also be remembered from the small screen as “Aunt Lou” in Deadwood, “Helene Parks” in Boston Public and can be seen in encore episodes of Friends, CSI, Monk and NCIS. She is an all-around standout actor who has performed alongside some of Tinsel Town’s greatest stars as “TSA Supervisor Daisy Bell” in Valentine’s Day, “Officer Garden” in The Hangover, the boss of Kate Winslet in The Life of David Gale, Jamie Foxx’s sister in Dream Girls; Dogville with Nicole Kidman and Pineapple Express.  Cleo brought audiences to their feet with laughter in Transformers IV:  Age of Extinction with Mark Wahlberg and the independent film Just Before I Go directed by Courteney Cox.

She is a triple threat talent — actor, singer and dancer — who has wowed audiences all over the world with her powerful and soulful singing reminiscent of the great Aretha Franklin.  She is a self-made success that took her career from church choirs in St. Louis, to the stages of New York, and then on to the screens of Hollywood.

Cleo King is a philanthropist with a special interest in the needs of children.  She is actively involved with associations such as the March of Dimes and Peas in Their Pods, an organization dedicated to helping parents find missing children.  The organization also takes pride in helping children of color survive child abuse.  Additionally, Cleo is very proud to be the national spokesperson for Penny Lane.  Their mission is to foster hopes and dreams by empowering children, youth and families to reach their highest potential.  Well-rounded, talented and grateful to always be working in an industry she loves, Cleo King is one queen worth getting to know.
