1500 or Nothin’ is a collaborative of Grammy-award winning songwriters, musicians and music producers based in Inglewood, CA, led by Larrance “Rance” Dopson and James Fauntleroy. Rance is credited with starting 1500 — by collecting an assembly of like-minded virtuoso musicians to join him in writing and producing with many of the top stars of urban music.

Songs they have had a hand in writing or producing include “Grenade” and “Money Make Her Smile” by Bruno Mars, “The 20/20 Experience” by Justin Timberlake, “Einstein” by Kelly Clarkson, “Beast Mode” by Ludacris, “How Much a Dollar Cost” and “These Walls,” by Kendrick Lamar, “James Joint” by Rihanna, “Feel Right” by Mark Ronson and Mystikal, “Young Wild and Free” by Wiz Khalifa and Snoop, “Girls Like Beyonce” and “On My Way” by Drake, “Clique” by Jay-Z, Kanye West and Big Sean and many others!

Their music has been featured in the films “Valerian,” “Get Hard,” “Man With the Iron Fist” and “Deuces,” as well as the TV shows “Grown-ish,” HBO’s “Insecure,” John Singleton’s “Rebel,” the podcast “Bronzeville” starring Lawrence Fishburne, and the video games “Grand Theft Auto” and “NBA 2K Live.”

1500 are also all multi-instrumentalists who in their spare time often tour live with many artists including Dr. Dre, Jay-Z, Snoop, Usher, Rick Ross and more.

Members of 1500 or Nothin include: Larrance “Rance” Dopson, James Fauntleroy, Uncle Chucc, Lamar “Mars” Edwards, Carlos “Los” McSwain, and Brody Brown, among others.
