Born and raised in Chicago, Barton Fitzpatrick was the Illinois finalist in the 2013 August Wilson Monologue Competition and received a scholarship from the University of Illinois at Chicago BFA Acting Program. Fitzpatrick played ‘Reg’ in the hit SHOWTIME drama series The Chi, executive produced by Lena Waithe and Common. He previously played roles in Dick Wolfe’s Chicago PD, Chicago Med and Chicago Justice. Fitzpatrick recently guest starred on the critically acclaimed Fox show “Empire” in which he showcased his talent as an R&B singer. Barton is currently launching his career in music with two hot singles “Simplicity” & “Fan” that can be found on all music platforms. “Simplicity” can also be heard on Season 2 Ep. 7 of “The Chi” which is Bartón’s first of many music placements.
