Paul Ben-Victor has built a career on the small and big screen appearing in over 100 films and television series. A director’s favorite, he has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Tony Scott, Steven Zallian, and Clint Eastwood. Paul can be seen next opposite Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro and Joe Pesci in Martin Scorsese’s upcoming feature THE IRISHMAN slated to launch on Netflix this fall. The film marks his second time working with the Academy-Award winning director since having starred in Scorsese’s critically acclaimed series VINYL for HBO.
Paul has several other upcoming feature film projects, including ALL RISE where he stars opposite Jeffrey Wright and Jennifer Hudson, THE BANKER opposite Samuel L. Jackson and Anthony Mackie, WALDO opposite Mel Gibson, Charlie Hunnam and Morena Baccarin, ALLAGASH opposite Tom Berenger, and the ensemble film FEAST OF THE SEVEN FISHES. Paul’s past film credits include GET HARD with Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell, GRUDGE MATCH with Robert DeNiro, A CROOKED SOMEBODY alongside Ed Harris, DAREDEVIL opposite Ben Affleck, THE CORRUPTOR with Mark Wahlberg, and classics such as TOMBSTONE and TRUE ROMANCE.
In television, Paul has played a number of standout roles in some of TV’s most highly-acclaimed series, including appearing opposite Matthew McConaughey in HBO’s Emmy-award winning and Golden Globe-nominated series TRUE DETECTIVE, as a series regular turn on USA Network’s IN PLAIN SIGHT, and in HBO’s THE WIRE, heralded as “the greatest series of all-time” by Entertainment Weekly and Rolling Stone. Other TV credits include, but not limited to ENTOURAGE (HBO), JOHN FROM CINCINNATTI (HBO), NYPD BLUE (ABC), and WILL & GRACE (NBC). Paul has recurred on THE MICK (Fox), PREACHER (AMC), SANTA CLARITA DIET (Netflix), THE VILLAGE (NBC), and GOLIATH (AMAZON) opposite Billy Bob Thornton. He also received critical acclaim for his portrayal of iconic comedian “Moe Howard” in the ABC biopic THE THREE STOOGES.
